PARKING PASSES & RULES

As a reminder, the Alliant Energy Center has transitioned to an electronic parking system and will require a digital parking pass for entry. All parking passes purchased through the JNHE entries site will be distributed electronically and will be required for admission to the grounds from Tuesday, July 7, through Friday, July 10.

Please watch your inbox for an email from JustPark, which will contain your electronic parking pass and instructions for entry into the Alliant Energy Center. Once received, simply accept the pass and display it on your mobile device when entering the grounds. Please note that some email providers may direct messages from JustPark to junk or spam folders. If you do not see your parking pass email, we encourage you to check those folders. All passes will be distributed by the end of the day on Friday, June 26.

Each digital parking pass may be scanned once per valid day at any open gate. If you leave and return on the same day, gate personnel will provide an in-and-out receipt to allow re-entry.

To purchase additional parking passes please utilize the link below.

JNHE HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

— ADDITIONAL COPY OF YOUR CVI REQUIRED AT ENTRY —

As we prepare to welcome exhibitors to the JNHE, here are some important updates regarding health requirements for interstate cattle movement into the state of Wisconsin.

New World Screwworm (NWS) has been identified in the southern U.S. It has not been identified in Wisconsin. Although animals originating from infested zones must comply with all requirements, including quarantine and inspection requirements, Wisconsin has no additional import requirements or restrictions for NWS at this time. Visit the NWS web page for additional information and resources.

This is a fluid situation and the JNHE will continue to monitor news from the USDA and animal health organizations. We encourage you to work with your local vet and continue to stay informed. We will also let you know if any changes are made to the animal health requirements for entry into Wisconsin.

Due to NWS, it is very important to follow all the steps for JNHE health requirements. We will be collecting a copy of your health paper upon arrival at Alliant Energy Center, to have on file for state vet inspection. We ask that you all plan ahead and please be prepared to provide a hard copy of certificate of veterinary inspection (CVI).

STEP #1 — All animals headed to the JNHE must have an official animal ID, which is the USDA 840 Animal Identification Number (AIN) RFID tag (15-digit RFID tag starting with 840).

Tattoos, registration numbers and brands are NOT accepted as official identification.

STEP #2 — All cattle showing at the JNHE must be accompanied by a CVI documenting official animal ID and all required tests and certifications, including current accreditation number if applicable.

STEP #3 — All exhibitors must bring an ADDITIONAL copy of CVI that will be collected by JNHE show staff upon entry to Alliant Energy Center.

IMPORTANT: Exhibitors without CVI’s in hand will be turned away at the welcome gate and will not be allowed to exhibit at the JNHE.

Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to protecting the health of the national cattle herd. We look forward to welcoming you to Wisconsin and to a successful Junior National Hereford Expo.
