A LETTER FROM THE NJHA |
Dear State Advisors,
In just a few short weeks Hereford families will hit the big stage and “Live From Louisville” is certainly shaping up to be one of the biggest productions of summer 2025. I personally want to take a moment to thank you for your leadership at the grassroots and all that you do to make the Junior National Hereford Expo (JNHE) experience so memorable for the exhibitors in your state. With 705 exhibitors from 41 states slated for the big show, it takes all of us working together to make it success, and we at the JNHE headquarters appreciate you sharing of your time and your talents to mentor the young people in your state.
This week’s newsletter is jam packed with information that will make planning for your trip just a little bit easier. From state lists to t-shirt sizes, this information should help as you check off the list of things to do before July.
The reports from all the state and regional shows across the country have been great and I love hearing all of the plans that your states are making for Louisville. I sure hope those plans include the JNHE Tailgate Party on Sunday night. Be sure and check out the changes we have implemented this year and a big thanks to our friends at Certified Hereford Beef for providing all of the meat for this year’s event. Sign up today and let us know what CHB product you will be grilling for Sunday night’s party.
That’s all for this week, please stay tuned in the coming weeks for stalling charts, tie out maps and arrival information into the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center.
Please use the State Advisor password to access any forms needed — JNHE25.
Thanks again for the important role you play as a state advisor.
See you soon!

All call for State Voting Delegates. Being a state delegate is a large responsibility for a junior member entrusted with their state's votes for the next four directors to be elected on the NJHA board.
Learn more about the requirements to be a State Voting Delegate, and nominate your State Voting Delegate as soon as possible. Candidates will be provided a list of delegates prior to the JNHE as they begin their campaign.

CHB PRODUCT OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM |
-
CHB Clod Tender – 1 Case (60 pounds) - The clod tender, also known as the petite tender, is a small, tender muscle found within the shoulder clod (chuck) of beef. It’s similar in size and texture to a pork tenderloin and is commonly used for grilling, roasting or slicing into medallions. This cut is one of two sub-primals in the chuck and is located between the chuck roll and the brisket.
-
CHB Ball Tip Sirloin – 1 Case (60 pounds - The ball tip steak or roast is a lean, flavorful cut from the bottom sirloin, specifically the "ball tip" section. While less tender than the top sirloin, it remains highly versatile. Ball tip is often marinated and grilled, or sliced thin for sandwiches and stir-fries. This boneless cut is ideal for stir-frying, grilling, roasting, smoking, or stewing.
-
CHB Ground Chuck – 50 Pounds - Ground chuck is versatile and flavorful, maintaining its shape well during cooking. It is an excellent choice for burgers, tacos, and meatballs.
