The Hereford family is ready to be "Live from Louisville" in just a few short days as the 2025 VitaFerm Junior National Hereford Expo descends on the city of Louisville, Ky., July 12-18.
Please read this email carefully and ensure that all details leading up to the JNHE are complete and that you are prepared for the biggest event of the summer. If you are aware of any scratches from any events at the JNHE, including contests or cattle, please make sure to fill out the JNHE scratch form. |

JNHE MOVE IN DETAILS AND UPDATED PROCESS |
|
TACK MOVE-IN NOW BEGINS AT 9 A.M.
Due to ongoing construction at the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC), our team has been working closely with KEC staff to ensure a smooth and efficient arrival process for all JNHE exhibitors. To kick off “Live From Louisville” on a high note and allow extra time for arrivals, we will open the gates at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, at which time tack trailers may begin unloading into the barns.
We’ve secured additional utility vehicles and are incredibly grateful for the many Kentucky volunteers helping to streamline this process.
IMPORTANT REMINDER
This early move-in is for tack trailers ONLY. Cattle may not arrive before 6 p.m. on Saturday evening. All cattle must first complete the required veterinary check in Lot V, located across the street from Gate 1. The state veterinarian's office will be on-site to handle all health paperwork and cattle inspections as
trailers arrive.

For those hitting the high notes in on-site contests at the JNHE — your performance order has officially been released.
Finalists for the Future Professionals Contest have also been named, and their time to take the interview room is set. Best of luck to all juniors ready to rock the stage in these contests.

JNHE OPENING CEREMONIES |
|
Exhibitors, mark your calendars for the Opening Ceremonies on Sunday, July 13th. State photos kick off at 5:15 PM, followed by the opening ceremonies at 6:00 PM. After, all exhibitors are invited to the JNHE Tailgate Party brought to you by Certified Hereford Beef, for a night of Live music and fun!
States will be called in groups to the backdrop for their photos according to the accompanying list. After they have taken their pictures they will line up inside of Broadbent Arena and will alternate sides as they make their Live entrance down the center. |

Back by popular demand, the NJHA Alumni Gathering is open for a night of celebration while the Hereford family is "Live from Louisville." If you served on the American Junior Hereford Association, National Junior Polled Hereford Council or the National Junior Hereford Association board of directors, make plans to come together on Wednesday, July 16 from 7-11 p.m.
